The original work was painted in 1996 by the Prince whilst on holiday. The Prince was also attracted by the rhythmic landscape and the contrast of the dark forms of the trees against the warm earth colours of the land. Carefully composed, the picture is freely painted with confident expressive and fluid brushstroke. Our work, a lithographic reproduction of the above, was published in 1999.
