Note: This view of a Greek Landscape was produced one early evening during a summer break in 1996. His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, has commented, "I love painting cypresses - they have a lovely darkness, a wonderful shadow. They draw you into the landscape". The picture featured prominently in His Royal Highness's 50th birthday exhibition, “Travels with the Prince” and was reproduced on the cover of the accompanying catalogue.
